It had been over a month since she’d opened the dating app. She didn’t feel like her type of guy was on there, but she decided to check and see anyways.

 

After a few minutes, she saw his picture. “Oooh was he good-looking,” she thought. With a few taps of the finger, she opened in his profile and read. The further she scrolled down on his profile, the more she wanted to get to know this guy. She admired his vision and his love for Jesus.  Looking at his age limit, her excitement fell. She was one year under his “set” age range, and she knew that he wouldn’t even see her profile. Contemplating what she should do next, she didn’t want to be forward and resolved to just send him a smile. 

 

When Anthony received her message, he waiting until the next day to respond then texted her back. They started messaging constantly, and it wasn’t long before Anthony asked her out so they could meet face to face. 

The day came… and when Ari arrived, she drove around the Cheese Cake Factory parking lot trying to find a spot. Anthony had arrived a bit earlier and was out front, waiting.  Ari caught a glimpse of him and thought- “Oh, I hope that’s him!”

And it was. 🙂

Both of them had an instant connection. Anthony recalls how there was never an awkward pause in their conversation, and the more they talked, the more each of them felt surer about the future of their relationship.  The date lasted over five hours and was soon followed up with a second date.  It was at a beautiful park in Washington where Anthony asks Ari to be his girlfriend. And three months later at that same park, he asked her to be his wife, slipping the gorgeous rose colored ring on her finger to make it official!!

 

The day of their session was a rare October day here in Oregon. It was actually warm, and a few fall colors were making their appearance at Powell Butte Park. It’s always so exciting for me when my couples first walk up in their outfits. It’s like a surprise present!  I couldn’t help oohing over their outfits!! I loved Ari’s dress from Jessa Kae, and it matched perfectly with Anthony’s red pants, which I’m told he picked out himself (10,000 extra cool bonus points for you Anthony). 

 

From my very first click, I knew that I was going to love the images. And while the location was gorgeous, it’s never looked so fine, and I believe that the people in it had a lot to do with it! 

 

Ari and Anthony, to say the least, you make an adorable pair. I also love how you look out for one another, have a shared excitement, and wish you a wonderful future together!
