I had the great pleasure in participating in a White and Dusty Blue Fine Art Wedding Inspiration shootout with the amazing Dorothea from Kamea Events and a group of talented vendors.
The aesthetic of the whole shoot was so well put together! I was excited that the gorgeous modern white cake was made by Dream Cakes, as I’ve been following them for a while on Instagram, and so getting to photograph one of their cakes was a highlight!!
The Black Tux provided a stunning white suit paring it with a dreamy dress from Ivy and Aster– seriously you guys, our lovely models, Bo and Ruby made the outfits look amazing!
It was fun to meet Caroline and photograph her stunning floral arrangements- my personal highlight being the floating floral chandelier for the ceremony! Also, my girl, Rachel did all the stationary and signs for the shoot, she’s so talented! The tablescape was especially a favorite, it was unique with the sweetpea flowers in little glass domes. Making for an elegant, yet a relaxing table setting.
And I’ve never cried before editing a styled shoot…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As soon as I walked into the Lightroom Studio and saw the groom model I couldn’t believe how much he looked like my Tati (grandfather) when he was young.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As I started going through the photos this morning, so many memories with my Tati went through my mind, and somehow the tears started flowing.
Tati passed away over three years ago, very suddenly and I never had to chance to say goodbye to him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The memories and pictures of him are all the holds him alive to me.
Being able to bring to life and preserve the precious memories of my clients is what lights me on fire. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And so they also may hold alive the memories of those they love. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
