When I was a kid, I remember my dad showing me photographs that were in black and white.  I was confused about them not having color, so I asked him if there was a time that the world was only black and white in the “olden days”. Haha!

While I love color photographs, there’s something so timeless and inspiring to me about black and white photos.

I love how it takes the distraction of colors and textures away and focuses more on the subject and emotion of the photo.

I have myriads of black and white photographs that I’ve saved on Pinterest, chosen because I see them filled with emotion and curiosity that make them come alive.

I’ve pulled a few of my favorites together, along with some that I’ve taken on my own. I hope they inspire you to see things in the world at a deeper level.
