Robin sat in a quiet corner of the party with her plate of food. She lived in a different state, hardly knew anybody there, and was content to sit and eat in silence.
While she thought she would be alone, a large German Shepard caught her eye as it was bounding toward her. The dog wouldn’t be satisfied to simply sit at her feet, so it launched itself entirely on her lap.
Bewildered at its behavior and looking around to find the owner, she saw a man, clad in black leather from head to toe, yelling, “Kill her! Kill her!” Frightened at these words, she couldn’t believe what she was hearing, nor when the dog finally leaped off her lap to go to its owner.
The man sincerely apologized for his dog’s behavior and clearing up that the dog’s name was Killer. It wasn’t usual that Killer like other people, and in this case, wasn’t the only who liked this beautiful woman from California! It was then that Roger promised himself that someday he was going marry Robin, and it had seemed as though Killer had picked her out, just for him.
After the party, Robin left Oregon and headed back to home in California.
Then, two years later, Robin decided to pursue a change in her life and headed up to Oregon – where Roger fulfilled his promise to himself and married her.
Roger also gave me a little advice, saying that people would be a lot better off if they would let their dogs picked their spouses for them (it seems to have proven true with Robin, as they were soon married)! And shortly thereafter, Robin renamed the dog that brought them together, Killer Lee (as so not to scare people)!
Robin and Roger are so cute together, they giggled and laughed through the entire time.
I even caught Roger winking at his girl.
I also fell in love with their collection of ducks, so you’ll see them make it in a few of the pictures.
Roger and Robin, your love and care for each other, and the life you’ve built together are so beautiful, thank you for letting me spend time with you! I can’t WAIT for you to see these! <3
Love that winter light!
