Mark & Emily

“Hi, I’m Emily, and I burst personal bubbles,”  was one of the first things she said to Mark when they met at work…and burst them she did! Within a year and a half of first meeting, Emily and Mark became husband and wife!

Their day was overflowing with love from family and friends traveling from all across the nation!  And from the moment I arrived, Emily’s nephews and nieces where playing outside and downstairs of the farm house. Her sisters surrounded her as she was getting ready, laughing and reminiscing.

One unique touch to their wedding was the beautiful bridesmaid and flower girl dresses handmade by Emily’s mother.  They were gorgeous.  And she even hand wove shawls for them to use later in the evening!

One of my favorite moments was when Emily and her sisters came downstairs… their mom was beaming with joy as she had all of her daughters together.  You could tell how proud she was of her daughter, and you could feel the excitement that they all had for their sister.

Mark and Emily thank you so much for entrusting to me the privilege of photographing your wedding, I’m so excited for this new chapters as you journey the rest of your life together!

It's an easy treat to make and it can be served on its own with something warm to drink, or topped with creamy vanilla ice cream...or if you're like me, both!
