Dressed in all black with soft tan loafers and long flowing hair- she was the kind of girl I would imagine walking down the streets of Paris. I could hear her soft and extremely classy sounding accent when she opened her mouth. I wish I could emulate her voice, for I’m sure if I did, I would just sound smarter and more sophisticated (believe me, Victoria when I say- I’ve never said that to someone about the way they talked)!
Let’s chat a bit her outfits… I adore the timelessness and silent statement that black gives, and so I, of COURSE, loved Victoria’s outfits! They hit the cord of classy, with a light twang of street style. The first outfit consisted of black jeans and an off-shoulder, black sweater with bell sleeves. She then switched up the top with a white tee and a short leather jacket. And finally, ending with a longer leather jacket and a ruffled black skirt. Some of my favorite pictures are with that outfit as Victoria walked through the frozen water with her bare feet. Seriously, this girl would stop at nothing to get a beautiful photograph!
The location was George Rogers Park. Tucked away in the city of Lake Oswego, the park had a large grassy area, a sandy beach with moss-covered rocks, and a stunning view of the Willamette River. I shot Halle’s session there last year– hands down a beautiful place to shoot !
While she’s not going to school or working, Victoria has an impressive knack for baking! I’ve seen her treats… and guys, she’s amazingly talented! She’s started a small business, and now she’s even catering for weddings. Nothing lights me on fire more than seeing others follow their passion and create something of their own- so I soaked in every minute of talking about her business.
Victoria has a genuinely kind heart, and a strong passion to serve her Savior. Hearing her testimony was such an encouragement, and I’m so excited about who she is and where she’s going. And now my friend, let’s get on to the pictures!!
