How and Why I’m Changing Dreams

I actually started writing my eulogy.

Yo, I’ve been given only one life and I want to live it with reckless abandon…so I figured I’d work backward.

In exploring changing up some of my dreams, I’ve been reading, journaling, praying…

Googling, asking questions, observing and putting myself out there even when it’s uncomfortable as HECCCCK

Boiling it down, my dreams and ambitions condense down to this:

I want to be available.

To listen. To help. To be there and have time for the people I know, and the ones I don’t.

It’s super broad, but I like this starting point. This cornerstone to build off of, I’m excited to continue the construction as breakdown what being “available” looks like in a practical way. The kind of lifestyle that would require and small changes I can make in my life to start working towards it ASAP.

What about your life? With your last few moments on earth, what are the things you want look back accomplished?

Are you working towards what lights your soul on fire?

Maybe you’re still not sure what your dream is yet, I’m still working on mine. My best advice for you (I’m legit reminding myself this as I share it with you) is to immensely enjoy what you’re doing right now, while continuing to explore.

My dear friend, what are you going to do with your one wild and precious life?

It's an easy treat to make and it can be served on its own with something warm to drink, or topped with creamy vanilla ice cream...or if you're like me, both!
