Lakeside Gardens is truly a hidden gem in Portland, pulling off a busy street, it’s tucked in with several lakes dotted with swimming swans connected by bridges and lots of beautiful gardens. It was such a peaceful venue, easily hosting the ceremony and reception.
From our first skype call together to their engagement session at Canon beach, I knew that Paul and Emily were such a kind and genuine couple… They’d been anticipating this day for a while and they were so ready to tie the knot!
The close bond between Emily and her mama was special to see, as she helped Emily with sweet Ariel, and supported her throughout the day. Paul and Emily’s little girl Ariel wearing the cutest tiny white dress was pushed in a carriage by Paul’s niece just before Emily graced down the aisle.
Emily’s wedding gown was gorgeous, after a long process of figuring out her dream dress, she made a perfect choice and she looked like a princess with her cathedral veil edged with sparkles.
Years ago I had an idea to put goldfish in centerpieces, as I had NEVER seen it before, and thought it would be fun to have fishes swimming in the water below the flowers…
MY MOUTH ALMOST DROPPED when Emily told me about her centerpieces!! It was so HAND DOWN an awesome idea! Future brides, this definitely a cool idea to use for your wedding!! 🙂
The whole day Emily and Paul were just relaxed, excited to celebrate their love and marking this commitment to each other!
Thank you Paul and Emily so much for allowing me to, I hope these pictures help carry and the excitement that you have right now years down the road. I love you guys!
High-five and Hugs to the vendors who made this wedding day a sucess!
