Chase and Kaitlyn Family Farm Engagement Session in Oregon

I will not deny but we might do a bit of  cardio, lifting, yoga throughout  your session in the name of “posing”. These two were naturals in front of the camera at their engagement session and Chase and Kaitlyn were there for the fun!

We shot their engagement session at one of my favorite places in Oregon…one of my family’s farms. I may or may not have gotten lost with them…I have a very poor sense of direction but we did find our way out. Obviously 😉

The weather and lighting was perfect, the glowly light had my photographer heart so happy! Also check and see if you can find the photo with the moon in it! Oregon summers are the absolute best!

I’m going to be sharing their wedding later on, but I wanted to share  what Chase and Kaityn share about what their photography experience was like..

“Finding the right person to capture that beautiful, handsome, better side of you is challenging. Mix that with the biggest challenge of all, feeling comfortable with the person that has the power to make you look good. Insecurities about yourself can also get in the way of ensuring those perfect pictures.

My husband and I stressed about this when it came to finding “the photographer” that was responsible for seizing those special, memorable, and one-of-a-kind moments.

When we met Kelby for the first time, it was a true blessing. Not only did she capture our wedding day perfectly, but she also took that feeling of awkwardness and fear of insecurity out of the picture and out of the moments.

Kelby has a true gift of getting to know you, making you feel comfortable and encouraged. She brings out that natural, better side of you, not only when she takes the picture, but when you look at the final product.

Words can’t even express how impressed and fortunate we were with Kelby’s work. She captured every single special moment of the day that I didn’t even think to capture. My husband and I can agree, our favorite experience with Kelby was the practice run, taking engagement photos. That is where we truly got to know Kelby, let loose a little bit, and where we built that connection that relieved every negative thought when it came to pictures.

My husband and I were beyond excited to have Kelby be part of our special day. Her personality, talent, and final product is definitely worth taking a chance on. My husband and I are forever grateful and will always, without a doubt, recommend Kelby as the natural born photographer!”

It's an easy treat to make and it can be served on its own with something warm to drink, or topped with creamy vanilla ice cream...or if you're like me, both!
