In a society that is quick to hide behind the mask of makeup, it’s always a breath of fresh air to take off the coverup and be confident in who we truly are. Beauty is a term who’s lines can be easily blurred, and it is important to remember that beauty STARTS with the inside. Here’s a quote from one of the girls, and I think it sums it up quite nicely!
Putting on the physical makeup may also not be the only covering we do. Slipping some invisible makeup- forming ourselves to the strongest, most convenient opinion, or concealing the person who we really are inside… clinging to the fears that we may not be accepted or loved because of it.
And here’s what another of my girls said-
Taking off the “mask” we did a spokesmodel shoot of being free, and a little bit wild…
Dancing to music.
And sharing stories.
Stay tuned for part 2 where we had the prettiest balloon garland!!
